Polished and Stained Polished Concrete
Polished concrete is the floor of the future! It is the ideal floor finish for warehouses, grocery stores, schools, retail centers, showroom floors, restaurants, garages, office complexes, and residential interiors. Polished concrete can be clear or stained. It provides the owner with a beautifully finished, highly functional floor. It is a less expensive alternative to age old floor choices. Polished concrete floors are easy to maintain and clean, requiring only occasional damp mopping.
We are certified Certi-Shine applicators. Ours is a multi-step process, using heavy duty grinding machines equipped with diamond pads of different grits. These diamond discs work on the concrete much like sandpaper works on wood. We start with aggressive metal-bonded diamonds and move up progressively in finer grits. There are no waxes or other topical coatings used; instead we use a penetrating densifier which hardens the concrete surface up to 400%. Then, we add a penetrating sealer which helps protect the surfaces from spills, water, oil, etc... The end result is a permanent and highly durable floor. With its lustrous shine, it projects a bright, clean image creating a final product that is fast becoming the floor of choice, and the floor of the future.
