Frequently Asked Questions

How is it done?
We use diamond discs under a 2000 lb. concrete grinding machine. These discs remove imperfections and flatten the concrete. Then, finer grits are used in a progressive fashion until a shining luster is attained.

How long will it last?
Polished concrete floors are permanent. There are no topical coatings that need to be maintained. Acidic liquids are about the only thing that can etch the floor.

How do I maintain the floor?
Routine dust mopping or occasional wet mopping. Automatic floor scrubbers may also be used.

Is it slippery?
No. Although polished concrete can be very shiny, this type of flooring system is not any more slippery than tiles of other floor systems.

How expensive is it?
Price varies depending on the size and condition of the concrete, desired luster, and clear finish or stained. Also, cost will change depending on what is on the existing concrete that has to be removed (i.e. carpet, VCT, ceramic tile, epoxies, etc.).

Who are some of your clients?
Chris Nikel Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Core Church, The Church at BattleCreek, Name Brand Clothing, Sams Club, Wal-Mart, Voice of the Martyrs, Verizon, Jenks Aquatic Center, Catholic Charities, The Broadway, Pattison Metal Fab, Yuba Heat Transfer, & People Inc., just to name a few.

What colors are available?
We use a revolutionary staining process to provide customers with just about any color they want.

Where do you recommend this process be done?
Warehouses, schools, restaurants, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, retail stores, dealerships, garages, almost anywhere.

What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Oklahoma as well as the surrounding states including Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.

How do I clean up stains?
Cleaning is easy! Just mop up the spill or mess. The finished floor is still breathable so if the spill or mess is not cleaned up for several hours, the floor can be stained as a result. However, polished concrete is less stainable than other floor choices.

Is this process messy or dusty?
No. We use "state of the art" equipment which makes this process 99% dust free.
